About All America Micromouse

The All America Micromouse Competition is a yearly Micromouse competition, held at UCLA, with the purpose of bringing together America’s schools and universities in one big Micromouse competition. Inspired by the All-Japan Micromouse Competition, All America Micromouse aims to host schools from not only the California and Region 6 areas, but schools from all over the United States. Started in 2012, we hope that All America will allow students in the US to compete with others from vastly different backgrounds and locales.

What is Micromouse?

Micromouse is one of the three main projects that UCLA IEEE offers, where the objective is to create a maze-solving autonomouse robot. The mouse must conform to certain size limitations and needs to solve the maze without outside human intervention.

What is the purpose of this competition?

The purpose of the All America MicroMouse competition is to create a central and unchanging location in America where MicroMouse enthusiasts can compete against and share their passion for MicroMouse with each other. Although performance is an important factor, the competition also recognizes the stories that each mouse will tell. In this competition, you meet everlasting friends, wise teachers, experienced professionals, and new rivals. Welcome to All America!
